TAITIEN Electronics, a leading provider of frequency control solutions, has introduce d the industry’s
smallest high-precision temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXOs), the TW series. Leveraging TAITIEN’s long history of making high-performance TCXOs and expertise in end-to-end fabrication of high-precision quartz crystal oscillators, the new TW TCXO is capable of providing ultra tight frequency stability of +/- 0.1ppm over -20 to 70oC and +/- 0.28ppm over -40 to 85oC in 5×3.2mm SMD ceramic packages.
With supply voltages at 5.0V and 3.3V, the TW series offer output frequency range from 10 MHz to 52 MHz in either CMOS or clipped sine waveform. The small form factor of 5.0×3.2mm allows more flexibility for hardware engineers in utilizing board space and product designs. In addition, the new TW series can achieve Stratum 3 frequency stability requirement along with excellent phase noise performance. These features make the TW TCXO a cost-effective solution as system clocks in wide range of applications.
Ideally suited for high-precision applications such as GPS receivers, Femtocells, FTTH and core network equipments, the TW series can deliver the tight frequency stability which could only be achieved previously by OCXOs. At the same time the TW series provide the performance with much lower power consumption and miniaturized form factor than typical OCXOs.
