With the rise in popularity of smart phones, IoT and wearable electronic devices, the need for miniaturized, low-power consumption real-time clock oscillators (RTC) solutions has grown rapidly. The RTC is essential to cope with the requirements of portability and ultra-long battery life required by these applications. Taitien’s 32.768 kHz real-time oscillators are widely used as a lower power, high stability solution in in these application. Taitien’s 32.768 kHz series, tuning fork crystal oscillators are widely recognized to offer low power consumption for long battery life by design engineers. In addition, Taitien offers a high stability RTC in one of the industry’s smallest packages for tight timekeeping applications. The OZ-I series uses an AT crystal to achieve small size in an industry standard 2.0 x 1.6 mm SMD package. The OZ-I AT-cut crystal oscillators can provide excellent frequency stability with an error of only 1.8 seconds within 24 hours of continuous working time. This series is always available and has a shorter lead-time which can quickly support prototypes and production requirements.
