Miniature OCXO
Proprietary Formosa ASIC Technology Saving Design Space for Systems
Taitien introduced a new NN series Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator (OCXO), which meets stringent frequency stability requirements while possessing superior phase noise performance. NN-Type OCXO incorporates Taitien’s patented Formosa ASIC technology and offers the industry’s smallest 9.7 x 7.5 mm package. It delivers the best reference clock performance among similar miniaturized products with a very low aging rate of only 0.6 ppm per year. The noise floor can reach -150 dBc/Hz, which is far lower than competing products in the market. This series is ideally suited for applications such as small base stations, SyncE, IEEE 1588 PTP and network switches.
- Miniaturized SMD package: 9.7 x 7.5 mm
- Frequency range: 10 MHz to 40 MHz
- Frequency stability: as low as ±5 ppb over -20°C to 70°C & ±10 ppb over -40°C to 85°C
- Low power consumption: only 0.3 W for steady-state at room temperature
- Stratum 3 standard: frequency stability of ±4.6 ppm for over 20 years (all conditions included)
- Exceptionally low aging rate of 0.6 ppm per year
- Noise floor reaching -150 dBc/Hz
- Application: small base station, SyncE, IEEE 1588 PTP and network switch
